André Morneau Chairman of Groupe Morneau becomes Honorary Chairman of the Tournois des vieux loup

The Tournoi des Vieux Loups recently marked its 40th anniversary with a memorable celebration.

This year, the event had the honour of welcoming André Morneau, President of Groupe Morneau, as Honorary President, underlining the importance of his support for the cause.

Founded in March 1984 by Yves Roussel, Pierre Ouellet and Yves Bourré, the Vieux Loups social club has had a significant impact on the Rivière-du-Loup region.

Over four decades, it has directly and indirectly contributed more than a million dollars. These funds have been used to finance a variety of projects, enriching the lives of many community and sports organisations.

By organising fundraising activities, they reinvest every penny of the profits back into the local community, reinforcing the social and economic strength of the region.

This year's tournament, which brought together more than 208 golfers, was a real success. The day unfolded in an atmosphere of camaraderie and good humour, reflecting the spirit of solidarity that has driven this event since its inception.

Groupe Morneau is proud to have played a part in the success of this tournament. Everyone's contribution, combined with the excellence of the organisation, enabled us to break all records by raising the impressive sum of $28,500.

Congratulations to the organisers, participants and André Morneau for their dedication to this noble cause!
